Financial Issues | Insurance | Back to Work | Legal Aid | Planning Ahead | Records | Bankruptcy
Records should be kept for all treatment, employment, and financial history. These should be kept in a safe place for reference. Consider making duplicate copies, keeping one set at home for updating, and on in another location, such as a safe deposit box.
Keep copies of medical bills during diagnosis and treatments. Keep a phone log of calls made to insurance companies. Keep a calendar outlining appointments met. Save copies of CT or MRI films.
If record keeping proves to be too stressful on top of battling the cancer in your body, you may want to think about delegating the responsibility to a trusted and well organized family member.
