Living With Cancer | Sharing Diagnosis | After Treatment | Quality of Life | Caregiving | Family & Friends

After aggressively treating your cancer, you may find yourself having mixed feelings after treatment is over. You may be excited, and relieved that it's all over, however a sense of insecurity or loss may ensue after having medical support for so long.

Even if your physician pronounces you cured, try and push for follow-up care. In the future survivors should always be monitored for traces of cancer that remain after treatment. Test should be done immediately done after treatment. If no signs are found, repeat exams may not be needed. In routine exams however, signs for returning cancer should be assessed.

There are several specialists that can help you in returning to your life as a cancer survivor, such as:

Physical Therapists
Nutritionists
